On Saturday 17 October, the Lierneux circuit will host another edition of the Yamaha MX Pro Tour. A day entirely dedicated to motocross, offering the chance to test Yamaha’s latest models for free and discover the new MX Junior Experience.
LIERNEUX — Motocross enthusiasts are invited to MX Lierneux on Saturday 17 October 2026 for a day centred on performance and innovation. As part of the 2026 Yamaha MX Pro Tour, Yamaha Motor Benelux will offer riders the chance to discover and test several models from its motocross range in real track conditions.
The event will give participants the chance to ride the new Yamaha YZ250F – the star of this edition – as well as the YZ450F, YZ250, YZ125 GYTR and the new YZ85.
The new YZ250F takes centre stage
This edition of the MX Pro Tour is particularly eagerly anticipated due to the unveiling of the new YZ250F.
The 250 cm³ four-stroke model has undergone significant technical development. Yamaha has announced, in particular, a new engine offering more power and torque across the entire rev range, as well as a new hydraulic clutch designed to improve precision and rider control.
The chassis, inspired by that of the YZ450F, and optimised ergonomics round off these developments.
For riders, the MX Pro Tour therefore offers a real opportunity to discover the features of this new generation of YZ models directly on the track.
Free test rides at the MX Lierneux circuit
Participants will be able to book free test sessions, lasting up to 20 minutes per model.
The range on offer will allow riders to compare several Yamaha machines and discover their specific features in an environment specially adapted for motocross.
Previous riding experience is, however, required, and each participant must have their own protective gear.
As places are limited, Yamaha recommends booking sessions in advance via its dedicated platform.
Riders may also bring their own motorbikes
The Yamaha MX Pro Tour will not be limited to Yamaha test rides alone.
Riders wishing to make the most of their day at Lierneux on their own bikes will also be able to take part in free practice sessions on the track.
Registration for these sessions is handled directly by MX Lierneux. The fee is set at 20 euros per rider, with a limited number of places available.
This format will bring together, for the duration of the day, riders coming to test Yamaha’s new models and enthusiasts simply wishing to make the most of the circuit’s facilities.
MX Lierneux officially joins Destination Yamaha Motor
Beyond the MX Pro Tour, this day will also mark an important milestone in the collaboration between Yamaha and MX Lierneux.
The Liège-based circuit is officially joining the Destination Yamaha Motor platform, developed by Yamaha around a passion for motocross, the riding experience, training and performance.
This integration provides Yamaha with a new off-road venue in Belgium designed to host a variety of riding experiences and support riders, whether beginners or experienced.
For MX Lierneux, this collaboration also represents recognition of the quality of its facilities and its standing within the Belgian motocross scene.
A new experience dedicated to young riders
The partnership will also give rise to the MX Junior Experience, a programme aimed at young riders wishing to discover motocross in a supervised environment.
With the support of experienced instructors, younger riders will be able to get started in the sport and gradually develop their skills.
For this activity, MX Lierneux has several Yamaha models suitable for young riders, notably the PW50, TT-R110 and TT-R125.
The MX Junior Experience will be offered for the first time as part of the 2026 Yamaha MX Pro Tour, providing families with a complete motocross experience at the Lierneux site.
A day dedicated to the passion for motocross
With the Yamaha MX Pro Tour, test rides of the new models, free practice sessions and the launch of the MX Junior Experience, MX Lierneux is set to host a particularly action-packed day for motocross enthusiasts.
