Who are we?

Our website address is: https://mx-lierneux.be.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help us detect spam.

An anonymous string created from your email address (also known as a “hash”) may be provided to the Gravatar service to verify that you are using it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

Avoid uploading images with location data (EXIF GPS) to the website. Website visitors can download and extract all location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may agree to your name, email address and website being stored in cookies. These cookies are designed to make things easier for you, so you do not have to re-enter your details when you leave another comment. These cookies have a lifetime of one year.

When you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

When you log in, we also set cookies to record your login details and screen display. Login cookies have a lifetime of two days and screen option cookies have a lifetime of one year. If you select the “Remember me” option, your connection will be saved for a fortnight. When you log out of your account, the connection cookies are deleted.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is stored in your browser. This cookie contains no personal data and only identifies the article you have just modified. It expires after one day.

Integrated content of other websites

Articles on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, include additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with such embedded content, including your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

With whom do we share your data?

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset e-mail.

Data retention period

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve future comments instead of placing them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website (if applicable), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, change or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and modify this information.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account on this site, or if you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not apply to data that we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where will your data be sent?

Visitors’ comments may be monitored by an automated spam detection service.
